born circa 1410
| Father | Richard de Scheladon |
| Mother | unknown |
| Wife | Anne |
| Children | Richard, William, Thomas, Henry, John |
The little that is known about Hugh is taken either from the Visitation of Derbyshire in 1662 (1), or from J Gardner Bartlett's research (2), I have verified no original sources. However the few sources of Bartlett's that I have verified for later generations appear to be substantively correct.
Hugh was probably born around 1410 in Monyash. He is mentioned in a charter of 1437, but no other reference to him is known. He is claimed to have had a wife called Anne.
